British Women Smoke Pipes
LONDON. Women, are reacting to the cigarette shortage in Britain by smoking pipes. One of London’s oldest pipe makers said that the demand from women had proved large enough to justify the firm producing a special model. , It is a briar weighing a quarter of an ounce, and costs 12s 6d sterling.—Reuter.
