JOINT ORGANISATION WOOL IN SYDNEY

The Joint Organisation will offer 220,000 bales of Australian wool in the Sydney market between January and June, 1950. It is also intended to offer 309,000 bales of wool in Britain, 40,000 in New Zealand, and 6000 in South Africa. These sales will reduce the Joint Organisation’s stocks to about 565,000 bales, comprising 480,000 Australian, 80,000 New Zealand and 5000 Karakul.
