RETURNING HOME
ACCOMPLISHED VIOLINIST ACQUISITION TO DUNEDIN Resident Correspondent LONDON, Dec. 7. An acquisition to the Dunedin and New Zealand musical World will be Mr Glynne Adams, who is returning home on the maiden voyage of the Rangitane next month. Mr Adams has been studying the violin at the Royal College of Music for the past three years and a-half with the assistance of an Associated Board scholarship. In addition to gaining his A.R.C.M. diploma, he has played regularly with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Boyd Neel Orchestra, and several chamber ensembles.'. Recently he was invited to play with the Boyd Neel. Orchestra during its two-month tour of Scandinavia, but he had already made plans to return to New Zealand and had to decline.
A few weeks before leaving he is to marry Miss Elsa Jensen, a Canadian, who is also an accomplished violinist. Both are looking forward keenly to playing with Dominion combinations.
