Rec. 9 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 18. Snowstream improved Its chances in the Summer Cup by a meritorious wia in the Christmas Cup at Rosehill. The country horse Shomac set up a big lead and was ten lengths ahead at the three furlongs. The time for the race was half a second slower than the record held by War Eagle. Kerry Lad had a good chance until his saddle slipped. Result:— ..Christmas Cup.—Snowstream, 9.1 (Doftn), 1; Shomac, 612 (Husking), 2; Dark Marne, 9.7 (Cook), 3. Fourteen started.
