WESTLAND HANDICAP PUBLICANS’ TO ADVENT PA HOKITIKA, Dec. 18. The Westland Racing Club’s Christmas meeting was held yesterday under adverse weather conditions after heavy rain overnight. Rain set in after the third race and continued throughout the remainder of the programme. The track cut up badly as the meeting, progressed, slow times being recorded. Hie totalisator handled £12,670 10s compared with £16,448 on the corresponding day last year.
