PALMERSTON GUN CLUB

The annual Christmas shoot of the Palmerston Gun Club was held on Saturday under unsettled conditions. Best results were:—

Fivebird eye-opener: F. Hitchcock, W Sutherland, A. Orbell, J. R. Roy all broke four birds. Ten-bird Handicap: J R. Roy 10 breaks, A. Orbell, L Cowan 8, F. Hitchcock 7, W. Sutherland. D McAulay. 6 Seven targets: F. Hitchcock 6 breaks, A. Cowan, W. Sutherland, J. R. Roy 5 each. Ten targets'. J. R. Roy 9 breaks, L. Cowan, 8 breaks A. Cowan 7 breaks, F. Hitchcock. A. Orbell 6 breaks, First Miss Out: L. Cowan 10 breaks, J. R. Roy 9 breaks. After the shoot a variety of prizes was distributed among the shooters.
