RAILWAY NOTIFICATIONS no CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. The following Alterations and Additions to the local Train Services will operate:— OTAGO CENTRAL BRANCH: From WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14, to WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11, inclusive, usual 9.10 a.m. Cromwell-Dunedin, . and usual 7.55 a.m. Dunedin-Cromwell Passenger trains will run daily (except Sunday). On FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, Special Night Passenger Train will leave Dunedin 10.0 p:m.,. Middlemarch 12.30 a.m. (24th), Ranfurly 2.35 a.m., Cromwell arrive 5.55 a.m., and Special Night Passenger. Train will leave Cromwell. 10.0 p.m., Ranfurly 1.44 a.m. (24th), Middlemarch 3.39, Dunedin arrive 6.0 a.m. On DECEMBER 24, 26, 27, 31 and 'JANUARY 2 usual 10.10 a.m. DunedinRanfurly Train will NOT run. DUNEDIN - PALMERSTON - OAMARU. On FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, Special Passenger Train will leave Dunedin 10.0 p.m. for Seacliff. Stops at Ravensbourne and Port Chalmers Upper to pick up; after leaving Port Chalmers Upper stops where required for passengers, also at The Gums to set down only. i On DECEMBER 25, usual 8.45 a.m. Dun-edin-Oamaru Sunday train will be delayed to leave Dunedin 9.0 a.m., and will run correspondingly later to Oamaru. On MONDAY and TUESDAY, DECEMBER 26 and 27, usual 4.10 p.m. DunedinPalmerston train will NOT run and the USUAL SATURDAY Train Dunedin depart 5.25 p.m. WILL run. On MONDAY, JANUARY 2, usual 6.25 a.m. Palmerston-Dunedin and 4.10 p.m. Dunedin-Palmerston trains will NOT run. DUNEDIN-BALCLUTHA: On FRIDAY. DECEMBER 23,„and on each MONDAY and- FRIDAY until MONDAY, JANUARY 9, inclusive, usual 4.$ p.m. Dunedin-Clin-ton train will run later, leaving Dunedin at 4.43 p.m., thence on the time of the usual Wednesday train. On DECEMBER 26, 27, 31, and JANUARY 2 and 3, usual 4.45 a.m. DunedinInvercargil) train will NOT run from Dunedin to Clinton. SUBURBAN TRAINS: On MONDAYS. DECEMBER 26, and JANUARY 2, usual 6.15 a.m Dunedin-Mosgiel and usual 7.7 a.m. Mosgiel-Dunedin trains will NOT run. On MONDAY, DECEMBER 26, and TUESDAY, DECEMBER 27, usual 9.50 a.m. Mosgiel-Dunedin train will NOT run. A train for passengers will leave Mosgiel for Dunedin at 10.21 a.m. on these days. On MONDAY, JANUARY 2, usual 9.50 a.m. Mosgiel-Dunedin train will NOT run. From MONDAY. DECEMBER 26, to FRIDAY, JANUARY 6. usual 4.48 p.m. Dunedin-Port Chalmers, 4.48 p.m. Dun-edin-Mosgiel and 5.1 p.m. Burnside-Dun-edin trains will NOT run. * On DECEMBER 26, 28, 30, and JANUARY 2, 4 and 6. the 4.43 p.m. DunedinClinton train will also stop at stations Kensington to Mosgiel inclusive for passengers. OUTRAM BRANCH: There will be NO train services on the Outram Branch on MONDAY and TUESDAY. DECEMBER 26 and 27, and MONDAY, JANUARY 2. CATLINS RIVER BRANCH: On FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, usual 11.0 a.m. Balclutha-Tahakopa and 5.0 p.m. Taha-kopa-Balclutha Goods -Trains will have passenger accommodation and will stop where' required for passengers. Usual 4.40 p.m. Balclutha-Tahakopa train will leave Balelutha 7.50 p.m., Owaka 9.15, Tahakopa arrive 10.45 p.m. On SATURDAY, DECEMBER 24, train for passengers will leave Balelutha 11.0 a.m., Owaka arrive 12.5 p.m. Return train will leave Owaka 12.30 p.m., Balelutha arrive 1.40 p.m. Stops at all stations for passengers. On MONDAY, DECEMBER 26, and MONDAY, JANUARY 2, train will leave Balelutha 10.30 a.m., Owaka 11.33, Tahakopa arrive 12.55 p.m. Return train will leave Tahakopa 1.35 p.m., Owaka 3.5, Balclutha arrive 4.5 p.m. On FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30, usual 6.25 a.m. Tahakopa-Balelutha train will be delayed to leave Tahakopa 6.55 a.m., Owaka 8.50, Balelutha arrive 10.0 a.m. Usual 4.40 p.m. Balclutha-Tahakopa train will be delayed to leave Balelutha 6.30 p.m., and will run on the time of the usual Tuesday train.
