OFF-COURSE BETTING
EARLY DISCUSSION PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. The plan of the Racing and Trotting Conferences for the operation of offcourse betting is to be discussed soon wtih their representatives by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Bodkin. ' Mr Bodkin said in an interview that one of his first tasks would be to arrange for this meeting. The scheme would, of course, have to be submitted to the Cabinet for its approval.
