HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR BRITAIN THREE DAYS’ ACTIVITIES The High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, Mr C. R. Price, C.M.G., will arrive in Dunedin by car from Christchurch . on Sunday and will stay at Wain’s Hotel. He will return to Christchurch on the following Thursday. ‘ Mr Price’s itinerary in Dunedin is:— Monday, December 12.—9.55 a.m.: Leave hotel for Mayoral reception rooms, Town Hall, for morning tea. 10.30 a.m.: Civic reception in Council Chambers. 2.15 p.m.: Leave hotel for drive around Otago Peninsula. with afternoon tea at “Glenfalloch,” Mr P. Barling’s residence. Tuesday, December 13.—10 a.m.: Leave hot.el for visit to factory of Cadbury Fry Hudson, Ltd. 2-.15 p.m.:
Leave hotel for a visit to Roslyn Woollen Mills, Kaikorai. Wednesday, December 14.—10 a.m.: Leave hotel for visit to Botanic Gardens and Signal Hill Lookout. 11.30 a.m.: Visit Early Settlers’ Museum. 2 §.m.: Leave hotel for visit to Disabled ervicemen’s League, Anzac avenue. 3 p.m.: Leave for visit to Montecillo Red Cross Home, and stay for afternoon tea. 8 p.m.: Chamber of Commerce reception in the Tudor Hall, Savoy Buildings, where he will give a short address to members on “Britain’s Post-war Effort.”
