INDUSTRIAL SHARES IN DEMAND DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE There was a substantial marking up of buyers’ offers on the Stock Exchange yesterday and few industrial shares escaped heightened attention. New Zealand Breweries were wanted at 47s 9d and a special lot was asked for at 48s, an advance of 4s on the week. New Zealand Refrigerating contributing had a buyer 3d higher at 19s 6d, the seller asking 20s. National Insurance changed hands 6d higher at 255. Donaghy's Rope and Twine were in demand at 60s 6d, but these were merely typical of the many advances. Australian industrial shares were' similarly firm, but few sellers quoted. Mount Lyells were taken at 20s 6d and closed with buyers and sellers straddling the sale price with 6d margins.
