MR CHAPMAN’S MAJORITY REDUCED PA WELLINGTON, Dec. V. The preliminary count majority of 592 for C. H. Chapman (Labour) over W. Appleton (National) for the Wellington Central seat at the general election has been reduced slightly to 575 as a result of the official count.
