Retention Favoured
“ Subject to amendments of the constitution and functions of the catchment boards as necessity dictates, this executive favours the rentention of catchment boards.” This motion was adopted jtt yesterday’s monthly meeting of North Otago Federated Farmers.
. Mr A. Malcolm pointed out that if the Royal Commission’s recommendation that the power given to catchment boards were relegated to Government departments, the producers would not have the same prospects of administration as in the past.
