WESTERN MAORI SEAT

MR AMOHANGA AGAIN A CANDIDATE PA AUCKLAND, Nov. 7. Mr R. R. M. Amohanga, of Kihikihl, has announced that ne will contest the Western Maori seat as an Independent candidate. He was born at T'e Kuiti 55 years ago, and is a descendant of the famous Maori warrior, Rewi Maniapoto. During the First World War he served overseas as an officer. Mr Amohanga has stood for the Western Maori seat on previous occasions.
