ENGLAND’S ROWING EIGHT FOR GAMES
Rec 8 p.m. LONDON. Nov. 6. England’s eight for the Empire Games will be: A. S. F. Butcher (Cambridge and Thames), P. E. de Giles (Cambridge and Leander), W. A. S. Windham (Cambridge and Leander), H. J. Rushmere (Thames). R. D. Burnell (Oxford and Leander). P C. Kirkpatrick (Thames), M. C. Lapage (Cambridge and Leander), and P Bradley (Leander). J. G. Dearlove (Thames) will be cox. J. B. Brown and K. E. Pyngate will represent England in the double sculls and A. B. Rowe, last year’s Oxford president, will be the single sculler and spare man for the eight.
