Roll Of Honour Unveiled

A roll of honour, which contains approximately 100 names of members and adherents who fought in the Second World War. was unveiled at Columba Church on Sunday. The Mayor, Mr M. F. E. Cooney, councillors', and representatives of the Oamaru RSA were present, as well as the Columba Bov Scouts. Cubs, and Brownies. The Rev. L. W. Rothwell conducted the service, and Miss M. Wallace unveiled the roll of honour, which was dedicated by Mr Rothwell. The " Last Post ’’ and reveille were sounded by Mr A. Nuttall, and two minutes’ silence was observed.
