TRADING ON STOCK EXCHANGE
LARGE MONDAY TURNOVER A high level of trading was achieved on the Dunedin Stock 'Exchange yesterday, when the volume of business far exceeded the normal Monday turnover. Coulls Somerville Wilkie shares changed ownership at the steady figure of 355, and National Mortgage “A” were firm at 9s 3d, a thousand shares changing hands. North Broken Hill had the first local business for some little time, higher at 775, and Clutha River sold weaker at Is lid. Mount Lyells had business at 21s, but the rise in copper on the overseas market appeared to cause the withdrawal of sellers at the close, and buyers at 20s 9d were unsupported. DUNEDIN
