ADAMS.—On September 24, 1949, at Timaru, John Wilson, dearly beloved husband of Kate Adams, 64 Wai-iti road, Timaru. No flowers, by request.—Hall and Moore, funeral directors.

DUTHIE.—On September 23, 1949, at Dunedin, John Glover, beloved husband of Ada Mary Duthie, and loved father of J. C. Duthie, East Taieri. “At rest.”— The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 78 St Andrew street. GASKELL.—At Queenstown, on Saturday, September 24, 1949, Sergeant Ernest Cecil Gaskell, D.C.M. (Imperial Forces), late manager the Battery Sheelite Mines, Glenorchy; aged 64 years.—A service will be held in the Glenorchy Hall To-day (Monday), 26th inst., at 2 p.m., the Funeral leaving thereafter for the Glenorchy Cemetery.—J.
