OTAGO HARBOUR BOARD WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS Seating capacity in the , Otago Harbour Board’s meeting room was at a premium at the monthly meeting last night. Normally 14 members sit round the table, but the - arrival of three Government nominees representing 'workers in the waterfront industry > brought the board’s strength up to 17 —lB with the chairman, Mr W. R. Clarke. The three new members are Messrs S B. Macdonald, J. H. Pocklington and P. A. Traill, who .have been appointed under the provisions of the amended Harbours Act. A welcome was extended to them by the chairman. At the last monthly meeting, Mr William Partridge was received as a new member representing the Vincent Council and the Alexandra and Crom- . well boroughs. Other members present were Messrs F. E. Tyson F. L. Nicolson, A. Mcßae, T. Anderson, R. S. Thompson, C. O. Knewstubb, J. G. Jeffery, W. J. Winefield, J. G. Henderson, L. L. Derbridge and T. R. Bradshaw. Messrs J. Preston and H. C. Carter were not present.
