Without exception the beneficiaries are aged or infirm, living alone on . one ration. Parcels of our Fat (bearing the names and addresses of the donors) are usually associated with such items as fruit, jam, honey, meat, etc., from other parts of the Commonwealth. Many Dunedin ladies have often expressed a desire to help. Here is a practical way With little expense or bother: Send us small parcels of. say, two items, wrapped in strong paper securely tied with string. All tins of liquids such as honey MUST be soldered. Send your gift to the office of the Fat for Britain Campaign or leave with the Attendant of the Savby Building. Next shipment in a few weeks’ time. Assurance is given that all parcels securely labelled will be acknowledged by recipients. We offer this suggestion as a practical way to take part in this Campaign, especially those interested in the welfare of the most needy folks of Britain.
