) FAIR TO CLOUDY . The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation. An' anti - cyclone is centred near Tasmania, and extends over the South Island. Forecast to 5 pan.—Moderate. northeast winds; some local areas of fog, but weather otherwise fair to cloudy; temperatures cool. ; . • ■. Weather In Duriedin.—Overcast and cold weather was experienced in Dunedin yesterday, no sunshine being recorded. Up till 9.30 a.m. ■ 0.16 inches of rain fell. The maximum temperature was 46.3 degrees, the minimum 45.2 degrees, and the grass minimum 42.5 degrees. During the day there was a light wind from the southland at midnight the barometer reading was 30.15 inches.
