PETER DAWSON CUP
Association Football No association football competition matches will be played next Saturday as South Canterbury will play Southland, at Timaru, in a round of the Peter Dawson Cup competition. The winner of this match will play the winner of the West Coast v. Buller match to be played at Greymouth later in the season. P. White, of the Oamaru Club, had been selected as full-back for the South Canterbury team. North Otago Juniors will play South Canterbury Juniors as a curtain-raiser to the Peter Dawson Cup Match on Saturday. The following North Otago players have been selected: —K. Murray, E. Hesselgrave, S. Pheloung/ K. Chalmers, N. Daniels, J. Wray, A .Ketchen, B. Collings, A. Thomas. J. Napier, G. Lowen, D. Cleverley, K. Griffiths, A. Gibson. Any player not available should advise the selectors.
