MODERATE TEMPERATURES The weather forecast, issued by the Meteorological Office in Wellington, is:— Situation.—A complex depression covers the South-east Tasman Sea. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate northerly winds. Weather fair, with temperatures moderate. Further Outlook.—Unsettled. Weather in Dunedin.—Although no rain was recorded in the city up to 9 a.m. yesterday, there were only 12 minutes of sunshine: A fresh wind prevailed from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 56.9 degrees, the minimum 49.9 degrees, and the grass minimum 29.1 degrees. Pressure rose slightly after mid-day, the barometer reading at midnight being 29.90 inches.
