ORNITHOLOGICAL SOCIETY
ELECTION OF OFFICERS PA WELLINGTON, May 16. Members from all parts of New Zealand attended the annual meeting of the Ornithological Society of New Zealand at the Dominion Museum under the chairmanship of the retiring president, Mr C. A. Fleming, at the weekend. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr E. G. Turbott; South Island vice-president, Professor B. J. Marples; North Island vice-president, Mr C. A. Fleming: editor, Mr R. H. D. Stidolph; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. M. Cunningham; regional organisers—Dunedin, Mr L Gurr; Christchurch, Mr G. Guy; Wellington,' Dr R. A. Falla: Hawke’s Bay, the Rev. F. H. Robertson; Auckland, Mr R. B. Sibson; recorder, Mr H. R. McKenzie.
