HIGH SCOUT AWARD

DOMINION COMMISSIONER PA WELLINGTON, May 13. The Scout Association’s Medal of Merit and bar has been awarded to Mr H. S. Hills, of Lower Hutt, in recognition of his good services to Scouting. The award was made by the Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, in his capacity as Dominion Chief Scout. Mr Hills, who began his association with Scouting in Auckland in 1909, is Dominion Headquarters Commissioner.
