Representatives of four countries— Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States—which between them produce more than twb-thirds of the world’s wool supplies, are at present attending an Executive Committee .meeting of the International Wool -Publicity and Research Fund in LonfSton. ;:The New Zealand representatives at |M?meeting are the -chairman of the OTew 'Zealand Wool Board, Mr N. R.

Jameson, Mr A. Briscoe Moore, a fnember of the board, and Mr R. G. Lund, New Zealand representative on the International Wool Secretariat. This is the first occasion on which representatives of the American- woolgrowers have attended joint meetings with representatives of Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa for the purpose of promoting general wool research and publicity. “ From the point of view of the welfare of wool, this is of the greatest significance,” said Mr Douglas Boyd, chairman of the executive, in welcoming the American delegates. "For the first time the woolgrowers of the United States and of the three principal woolgrowing dominions, through the recent establishment of the Wool Bureau in New York, are now working side by side without reservations or inhibitions in the common task of promoting the use of wool throughout the world.”
