• ISOLATED SHOWERS The weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation. —Pressures are low east of New Zealand,' and anti-cyclones are centred in the Tasman and south of the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Winds light and variable inland and moderate from a southerly quarter. Some cloudy areas and isolated showers at first near the coast, weather otherwise fair. Temperatures cool. Weather in Dunedin.—There was no sunshine yesterday, and although only 0.01 inches of rain was record'd no to 9 a.m., a total of 0.13 inches fell during yesterday. The wind was nwuiy the south, and the maximum temperature was 48.8 degrees, the minimum 44.9 degrees, and the grass minimum 38 degrees. Pressure rose' during the latter part of the day, the barometer recording at midnight being 30.15 inches.
