Wilsons Cement.—A final dividend of 3£d a share is being recommended by Wilsons (NZ) Portland Cement, Ltd., for the year ended March 31. With the interim payment of 2£d a share, the total payment for the year will be 6d a share of 10s, equal to 5 per cent, per annum. In the previous financial year the distribution was 4 7-12 per cent.—ex dividend, June 9. Alloy Steel Dividend.—The directors of Alloy Steel (NZ), Ltd., recommend a final dividend of 3£ per cent., which, together with the interim dividend declared in October, 1948, makes a total of 7 per cent, for the year, together with a bonus of Is a share. Share transfer books will be closed from May 18, to 25, inclusive—ex dividend May 18 A. S. Paterson.—A final dividend of 2J per cent, is to be paid on ordinary and preference shares, making a total of 5 per cent, for the year.
