The Beaumont Racing Club’s Easter meeting was concluded in fine weather yesterday before a good crowd. The track was easy for the first few races, but it improved during the day. Tire gate takings amounted to £317, compared with £290 last year. The total for the meeting was £564, compared with £583 last year. The totalisator handled £12,099 10s for the day, compared with £11.689 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £22,083, compared with £22,056 10s a year ago.
