OAMARU TOURNAMENT FOURS COMPETITION Special to the Daily Times OAMARU, A pi. 18. Post-sectional play in the Fours at the Oamaru Easter tournament took place on the Phoenix greens to-day under perfect weather conditions, with bright sunshine and an absence of wind. The final was reached in the Championship Fours, the event being won by a Sprosen’s Linwood four skipped by J. Plumber, and the fourth round was completed in the President's Fours. The final in this competition will be played between A. Robertson, jun. (Phoenix) and J. Middlenvas's (Alexandra) to-morrow morning. Results Championship Fours First Round.—H. H. The Linwood four led 13—6 at the eleventh end, and a 6 on the fourteenthi took their tally to 19, which they increased to 22 to their opponents' 9 at the sixteenth.
