FIJIAN SEAMEN ARRESTED
CHARGED WITH MURDER OF INDIANS NZPA—Copyright
Rec. 8 p.m. SYDNEY, Mar. 26. Sydney defectives have arrested and charged three Fijian seamen with having murdered two Indians at Port Adelaide on December 8 last. An Adelaide detective will fly to New Zealand to-day to arrest two more Fijian seamen on the same charge. The police allege that the Indians had maltreated a Fijian, and in retaliation the Fijians attacked the Indians, who died in hospital from, the beating they received The ship on which the wanted Fijians are is due to arrive in New Zealand to-morrow.
