PA WELLINGTON. Mar. 27. The weather was fine and the track good for the second day of the Wellington trots at Hutt Park. The totalisator turnover was £100,867 against £103,061 10s. making the total for the meeting £155,804 as against £180.177 for the corresponding meeting last year. Following the running of the fifth race an objection was lodged against Conceit on the grounds of galloping and was sustained. Conceit, which passed the post third, was disqualified for the race. L H. J. Elliott, driver of the winner. Grand Fleet, in the Petone Handicap, was fined £5 for undue use of his whip. Results:— ARMY HANDICAP, Of £SOO. Class 3.53.
