NOT GOING TO AWAPUNI Special to the Daily Times AUCKLAND. Mar. 27. While playing in the paddock at Takanini on Saturday, the brilliant two-year-old Tudor Prince cut one of his legs. The wound is rather deep and as a result he will be unable to keep his engagement, in the Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes at Awapuni next Saturday. The meeting of Tudor Prince with Golden Spa and Gold Script was being awaited with interest and Ins absence through an injury will be very disappointing. Tudor Prince was to have travelled from Takanini to Awapuni with his rival, Gold Script, who has been working brilliantly Gold Script's admirers are hopeful that he will avenge his defeat by Golden Spa in the Wellington Stakes in January when they meet again next Saturday.
