PRESENTATION WELL RECEIVED

No empty seats could be found In the Concert Chamber on Saturday afternoon when a performance of “ Hansel and Gretel ’’ was given by pubils of Muriel Herbert and Ngila Slowley. The cast numbered more than 90, and the principal parts were played by Gaynor Wilson (Hansel), Corinne Conley (Gretel), Jocelyn McCabe (the witch), Lindsay Fleming (the father), and Daphne Adams (the cruel stepmother). The performance was well received. Mrs Herbert was the producer, lan Kerr the musical director, and E. Jory the stage manager. The proceeds from the show', which will be presented again to-night, will go to the Leper Fund.
