MANIOTOTO CRICKET
In the only cricket match played in the Maniototo knock-out competition on Saturday, Patearoa A defeated Hyde. The match also carried a challenge for the Greer Cup, held by Patearoa. Scores;—Patearoa, 287 (J. W. Blakely 83 retired, D. J. Blakely 72 retired, W McAtamney 50; Rennie one for 35, Tod three for 21, Barkely one for 18); Hyde 71 (Rennie 39; McAtamney three for 13, J. W. Blakely two for 14).
