NEW AMERICAN ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUN IN GERMANY

Rec. 9 p.m. BERLIN, Mar. 23. The United States Army disclosed that a 90-millimetre anti-aircraft gun, which through the use of radar c~n automatically track targets and fire 2o rounds per minute, has arrived in the United States zone of Germany, says the Associated Press Frankfurt correspondent. The new gun requires a crew of five technicians and is electrically operated by remote control. It is described as the “ most modem and effective defensive w r eapon against aircraft.” A modified design of the new gun has been mounted on tanks.
