PAYMENT FOR PHOTOGRAPHS

AMERICAN AIR BASES IN GERMANY ALLEGATION AGAINST CZECHS Rec. 9.36 p.m. BERLIN, Mar. 23. The Czech Intelligence Service paid £75 each for photographs of United States air bases in Germany, according to an alleged confession by a Czech, Adolf Walzel, who a United States military court is trying, says the British United Press Munich correspondent. It was explained in court that United States soldiers took photographs of air bases and left them to be developed at the laboratory where Walzel worked. He stole copies of the photographs and passed them on to his nephew, who is also on trial. The nephew took the photographs to Czechoslovakia, where he was paid £75 for photographs showing the United States air bases at Neubiberg and Furstenfeldbruck, where SuperFortresses and jet fighters are stationed.
