Slater Memorial Teams

The final match in the Albert Slater Memorial Shield competition will be played on Saturday, at 9 a.m., at Awamoa. The Phoenix Club held a successful Fours tournament yesterday, the winners being Doig, Slater, McCurrie and Mcßeath (Awamoa). The runners-up were M. Wisnesky, Mathieson, Domigan and Forbes. Results.—Section A: Watts 1 win, Robertson 2 wins; R. Henderson 1, Colquhoun 1; Henderson 1, Forbes 4; Adams 1, Mulligan 1; Mcßeath beat Black. Final: Mcßeath beat Forbes.
