ST. PAUL’S TENNIS

The close of one of the most successful seasons in the history of the St. Paul’s Tennis Club will be held on Saturday. The membership totalled nearly 100, a record for the club, and but for the assistance of the Lawn Tennis Association in making available grass courts for use by the club, this might not have been possible. The club entered four teams in the North Otago Association’s competitions. Mr W. Griffin has taken the younger members in hand, and has been giving some valuable coaching. The presentation of trophies will be held in the afternoon and a dance in the Coquet Street Hall at night.
