BAPTIST TABERNACLE
DR A. J. HODGE RESIGNS PA AUCKLAND, Mar. 22. Minister of the Baptist Tabernacle since 1933, the Rev. Dr A. J. Hodge will terminate his ministry with the church next Sunday. This was announced yesterday. Dr Hodge’s resignation was accepted at a meeting of church members last November. The Rev. Dr C. J. Tinsley, Australian Baptist Minister, who is vice-president of the Baptist World Alliance, will occupy the Tabernacle pulpit temporarily for the next two or three months. He is expected to arrive in Auckland from Australia next week.
