PETROL RATIONING
DOLLARS AT BOTTOM OF DIFFICULTY PA NAPIER, Mar. 11. Although the petrol supply position had been overcome and more tankers were now available, the dollar position wqs still the main obstacle in having rationing abolished, said Mr Nash in an interview in Napier. The more dollar petrol consumed in the sterling area the more dollars would have to be paid, said Mr Nash. “i' think the difficulty of dollars and the United Kingdom is now fairly well understood by the people of New Zealand,” he said.
