WANGANUI WOOL SALE OFFERINGS BELOW STANDARD PA WANGANUI, Mar. 11. The following is the official report of the Wanganui Woolbrokers’ Association on the wool sale held to-day:— “ The third main sale of the season was held to-day before a full and representative bench of buyers. Competition was reasonably keen and well spread, but at times rather erratic compared with the February sale. Prices were definitely easier, but firm on late sales. All lambs’ wool sold well, particularly Down cross, although some lines were passed. The Joint Organisation did not secure any wool. The offering of 28,596,ba1es was mostly late-shorn wool, not up to the standard of previuos sales, and comprised a large proportion of lambs’ wool and oddments.” The range of prices is:— d. d.
