THREE MEN INJURED

MOTOR SMASH AT TAPANUI Special to the Daily Times TAPANUI, Mar. 8.

Three men were injured and the sports car in which they were travelling was almost completely wrecked when it collided with a Railways Road Service bus at Tapanui at 9 a.m. today. The front of the bus, which was carrying school children from Conical Hill to the Tapanui School, was stove in by the impact Neither the children nor the driver were injured by the accident, which occurred at an intersection a block away from the main street of Tapanui. The injured passengers and driver of the sports car were all admitted to the Tapanui Hospital. The driver of the car, Mervyn Black, of Pomahaka, was unconscious when admitted. His passengers, Robert and William Whitefield, of Waikaka Valley, were both suffering from shock. Robert Whitefield was later discharged from the hospital.
