WONDERFUL TRIP

ENGLISH WOMEN’S CRICKET TEAM ARRIVAL IN DOMINION PA WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. “Very pleased to be able to tour New Zealand” was the. opinion of the touring English women’s cricket team which arrived by the Wanganella from Sydney this afternoon, according to its manager, Miss N. Rheinberg. “ The New Zealand people did a good job in arranging our itinerary in time,” she said. “We did not know definitely that we were coming until, November.” Tributes to Australian hospitality were paid by the team’s captain, Miss M. Hide. “It was a wonderful trip throughout,” she said. “We aimed to play bright cricket —the kind the public wants —and we tried to get a definite result in every game. The Australians had the same view, and we had some very exciting games as a result.”
