MODERATE TEMPERATURES The official weather forecast < issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation. —An anti-cyclone over the Tasman Sea extends on to New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Mode-rate winds from a westerly quarter predominating. Weather mainly fair, with temperatures moderate to milid. Further Outlook. —Little change. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin over the week-end was brilliantly fine, with mild temperatures and only light variable winds. On Saturday 9hr 48min of sunshine were recorded, yesterday’s total being lOhr 36min. The maximum temperature on Saturday was 67.8 deg and the minimum 58.8 deg, while yesterday the minimum was 66.8d?g and the minimum 57.8 deg. The rainfall for the 24-hour period ended at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday was 0.07 in, but no rain was registered yesterday. Pressures were high, the midnight reading last night being 30.30 in.
