WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS PA MASTERTON, Jan. 16. The Wellington provincial grass track cycle championships were contested at Masterton on Saturday afternoon. Riders from the Marlborough, Port Nicholson, Otaki, Wairarapa, Palmerston North, Petone, Nelson, Poneke <*nd Wellington Clubs competed. The track was heavy as a result of recent rain. Results:— Half-mile Senior Cycling Championship.—F. S. Jones (Marlborough) 1, R. O’Connor (Nelson) 2, N. Allan (Poneke), 3. Time, lmin 14 3-ssec. One Mile Senior Championship.—F. S. Jones 1, P. Murray (Poneke) 2, W. William (Port Nicholson) 3. Time, 2min 28 4-ssec. Three Mile Senior Championship.— P. Murray 1, N. Allan 2, R. O’Connor 3. Time, 7min 7 2-ssec. Donovan Cup (one mile). —F. Sinclair (Wellington) 1, R. Osborne (Masterton) 2. E. Walsh (Otaki) 3.' Time. 2min 37 2-ssec. Two Mile Junior Championship.—G. Alexander (Petone) 1. D. Smith (Otaki) 2. R.
