Reci 8 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 15. Reuter’s Beverwijk correspondent reports that the New Zealander, R. G. Wade, defeated the Dutchman, van Steenis, in the eighth round of the international chess tournament. Wade now has 4J points, 1 point behind the leader, Tartakower.
