The New Zeaiand Federation of University Women has been given one of the rooms in the present building of Crosby Hail —the international hail of residence for university women in Chelsea. London. The federation is appealing on behalf of the Crosby Ha!! Endowment Fund, through which it is planned to complete the buildings of the hall, and the New Zealand Government has promised a subsidy of £1 for £1 up to £IOOC on the money raised for this purpose. The New Zealand Government has also granted the New Zealand Federation £IOOO for its fellowship fund from which a fellowship will be awarded to a New Zealand graduate for work outside New Zealand. The fellowship in 1949 will be awarded tc a British fellow to go to New Zealanc and the New Zealand Government wil. make a grant of £3OO travelling allowance.
