MR FRASER IN WASHINGTON
Rec. 9 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan._ 13. The New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, spent most of his first day in Washington at the New Zealand Chancellery. He had discussions with all of the senior officers on chancellery business, and in the afternoon met the entire staff. This morning Mr Fraser, with the New Zealand Ambassador, Sir Carl Berendsen, attended the regular weekly meeting of the Far Eastern Commission. To-morrow Mr Fraser will pay a formal call on President Truman at the White House, and afterwards will be the guest at a luncheon of the Acting Secretary of State, Mr Robert Lovett.
