MANCHESTER UNITY

The opening meeting of the year of the Loyal Oamaru Lodge was held on Thursday, N.G. Bro. I. Bain being in the chair. Welcomes were extended to district officers P.G.S. Bro. Hall Masters and P.G.M. Bro. Burnett, and also to P.G. Bro. Long (‘West Coast) and Bro. Gapes (Wellington). It was decided to combine with Loyal Star of the North Lodge in entertaining district officers during their official visit to North Otago. The officers for the ensuing term were installed by Provincial C.S. Bro. Hall-Masters. It was decided to hold the lodge’s annual piente at an early date.
