There was a small yarding at the monthly Palmerston stock sale, held yes- , j v 107 sheep and 40 head of cattle being yarded. Although competition was restricted with the dry conditions prevail[ng in North Otago:, satisfactory prices were realised. Qucitations. o 7< - fir i to Fat Sheep.—Medium wethers. 37s 6d to one fid* small wethers, to 33s bu. 38 Store sheep.— Sound-mouth ewes with forward-conditioned lambs at foot 30, full-mouth ewes, with lambs at foot 23s 6d: two-tooth wethers (small). 33s to Jos 6d Cattle.-A mixed yarding, principally of cows and heifers.
